Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) July 2020 Latest News 2020


(Last Updated: 16.11.2020). CBSE CTET 2020: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released new exam dates of CTET July 2020. The CTET exam which was scheduled to be held on 05 July 2020 and postponed will now be held on 31.01.2001. CBSE had completed the process of Online Application of CTET July 2020 on the official website as per the schedule. The latest (14th) edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is now scheduled to be held on 31st January 2021. Candidates who want to change the option of exam center apply online as per the schedule through the official website. The detailed information regarding CTET July 2020 was released on the official website of CBSE & CTET.

CTET July 2020 Exam Postponed


CTET 2020 Latest Updates 16.11.2020: CBSE extended dates for online correction in exam centre cities and issued list exam cities for CTET January 2021. The Board released a new exam date of CTET 2020. CTET July 2020 exam which was scheduled to be held on 05.07.2020 and further postponed will now be held on 31.01.2021. The next date of the exam is declared on 04.11.2020. Online application for CTET 2020 was started w.e.f. 24.01.2020 as per the schedule. CTET Notification 2020

CTET 2020 detailed notification for July 2020 Exam was issued by CBSE on 23.01.2020. CBSE has published the official exam date of CTET 2020 Exam. Interested and Eligible candidates may apply for CTET 2020 through CTET website i.e. www.ctet.nic.in.

CTET Exam Schedule 2020

  • Duration of Exam: 2.30 Hours
  • Paper-2 Timing: 9.30 A.M. to 12.00 Noon
  • Paper-1 Timing: 2.00 P.M. to 4.30 P.M.

CTET Exam Scheme/Pattern - CTET Syllabus

CTET will be conducted for two papers - Paper-I (JBT/Primary Teacher  - Class I-V) & Paper-II (TGT/Language Teacher - Class VI-VIII). CTET for Paper-I may be conducted in Evening Session and CTET for Paper-II in Morning Session. There will be 150 MCQ Objective type questions for both papers - CTET Paper-I & CTET Paper-II. CTET Minimum Qualifying Marks/Criteria - 


The candidates who are going to appear either in Paper-I or Paper-II of CTET Exam are required to get minimum marks in CTET to clear/qualify the test. Here are the qualifying criteria for CTET.
  • The candidate securing 60% and above marks in CTET will be issued CTET Eligibility Certificate.
  • The candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC or other reserved categories will be concession as per the institution/state/central govt.

How to Apply for CTET

The candidates who want to apply for CTET can apply online through the official website of CTET i.e. www.ctet.nic.in. Here are easy steps for the online application of CTET.

Step 1: Fill in the Online Application Form

Step 2: Upload Scanned Images of Photograph and Signature

Note:
  • The scanned images of photographs and signature should be in jpg format.
  • The size of the photo image must be greater than 4 kb and less than 100 kb.
  • The size of the signature image must be greater than 1 kb and less than 25 kb.
  • Image Dimension of photograph should be 3.5 cm (width) × 4.5 cm (height)
  • only.
  • Image Dimension of signature should be 3.5 cm (length) × 1.5 cm (height) only.

Step 3: Pay examination Fee by challan or debit/credit card

Step 4: Print Confirmation page for your record and future reference, if required.

The candidate should satisfy his/her eligibility before applying and shall be personally responsible in case he/she is not eligible to apply as per the given eligibility criteria.

The candidate particulars entered can be edited until the payment of fees has not been made. The candidate’s particulars cannot be changed/edited once the examination fees have been submitted. Thereafter corrections in the particulars can be made during the period on-line corrections will be permitted from as per the schedule. No change will be accepted through offline mode i.e. through fax/application or by email etc. No correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
