CBSE CTET 2017 : Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a Public Notice regarding Fake News about Notification of CTET 2017. There is a fake news in social media and websites/blogs regarding CTET 2017 Exam in which they notified that CTET 2017 will be conducted in July 2017. So, now CBSE made it clear that there is no such notification officially released by CBSE. All aspirants of CTET are informed that they be alert on such fake notification and are advised to visit official website of CBSE & CTET for all latest updates about CTET. CBSE Public Notice about Fake News of CTET July 2017 Exam

Here is clarification by CBSE for CTET 2017 Exam :

It has come to our notice that some unauthorized websites have uploaded notification on the conduct of CTET 2017 in July by CBSE. In this regard it is to bring to the notice of all concerned that CBSE has not issued any such notification and the notification floated on unauthorized website is fake and not concerned with the CBSE. All the aspiring candidates for CTET 2017 may please note for information and be alert on such fake notifications. Candidates are also advised to visit CBSE official website i.e. www.cbse.nic.in and www.ctet.nic.in only for all latest updates about CTET.

CTET Notification 2017

CTET 2017 notification has not been issued by CBSE till the date. When CBSE will publish the official notification for CTET 2017-18 Exam, we will update you asap. Interested and Eligible candidates may apply for CTET through CTET website i.e. www.ctet.nic.in

CTET Exam Schedule 2017

There is no exam schedule of CTET 2017 Examination as CBSE has not issued Official Notification of CTET Exam. We will update here as and when there is official notification.

CTET Exam Scheme/Pattern - CTET Syllabus

CTET will be conducted for two papers - Paper-I (JBT/Primary Teacher  - Class I-V) & Paper-II (TGT/Language Teacher - Class VI-VIII). CTET for Paper-I may be conducted in Evening Session and CTET for Paper-II in Morning Session. There will be 150 MCQ Objective type questions for both papers - CTET Paper-I & CTET Paper-II. Here is the exam scheme of CTET paper-wise.

CTET Paper-II Exam Scheme

  • Date & Time of Exam : As per Official Notification 
  • Duration of Exam : 2.30 Hours

CTET Minimum Qualifying Marks/Criteria - 


The candidates who are going to appear either in Paper-I or Paper-II of CTET Exam are required to get minimum marks in CTET to clear/qualify the test. Here is the qualifying criteria for CTET.

  • The candidate securing 60% and above marks in CTET will be issued CTET Eligibility Certificate.
  • The candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC or other reserved categories will be concession as per the institution/state/central govt.

CTET Previous Years Old/Solved Question Paper 2016


Candidates who are appearing in CTET are advised to go through old question papers of CTET for paper-1 and paper-2. CTET Previous Years Solved Question Papers will be very beneficial to all those candidates who are appearing in CTET Exam for first time or have been appeared in last exams.

How to Apply for CTET

The candidates who want to apply for CTET can apply online through official website of CTET i.e. www.ctet.nic.in. Here are easy steps for online application of CTET.

Step 1: Fill in the Online Application Form

Step 2: Upload Scanned Images of Photograph and Signature

Note:
  • The scanned images of photographs and signature should be in jpg format.
  • Size of the photo image must be greater than 4 kb and less than 100 kb.
  • Size of the signature image must be greater than 1 kb and less than 25 kb.
  • Image Dimension of photograph should be 3.5 cm (width) × 4.5 cm (height)
  • only.
  • Image Dimension of signature should be 3.5 cm (length) × 1.5 cm (height) only.

Step 3: Pay examination Fee by challan or debit/credit card

Step 4: Print Confirmation page for your record and future reference, if required.

The candidate should satisfy his/her eligibility before applying and shall be personally responsible in case he/she is not eligible to apply as per the given eligibility criteria.

The candidate particulars entered can be edited till the payment of fees has not been made. The candidate’s particulars cannot be changed/edited once the examination fees have been submitted. Thereafter corrections in the particulars can be made during the period on-line corrections will be permitted from as per the schedule. No change will be accepted through offline mode i.e. through fax/application or by email etc. No correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
