Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit (as on 1 January 2014)

• Minimum: 18 Years
• Maximum: 37 Years

Education Qualification

• Ph.D. degree holders (who have obtained their Master’s Degree prior to 19 September 1991) with at least 55% marks {50%, excluding any grace marks, in case of scheduled Caste/Scheduled tribe/Differently-abled (Physically and Visually differently abled) Categories} or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed at the Master’s Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
• The candidate must have cleared NET/SLET/SET conducted by the UGC, CSIR/AIU.
• The candidate who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and procedure for Award of Ph.D degree regulations), 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET.
• NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Master’s Programmes in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted.

Candidates can obtained Application Forms from the office of the J&K Public Service Commission, Polo Ground Srinagar/Resham Ghar Colony, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu on cash payment of 500/- (excluding processing charges of Rs.10/) in respect of General Category candidates and 250/- (excluding processing charges of 10/-)in respect of Category candidates through the counters of J&K Bank opened in the offices of J&K Public Service Commission at Polo Ground, Srinagar/Resham Ghar Colony, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm on all working days from 02 June 2014.
Completed online Application Forms must reach the Secretary, J&K Public Service Commission, Polo Ground, Srinagar/Resham Ghar Colony, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu on or before the last date i.e 02 July 2014 in an envelope provided by the Commission along with the Application Form.

JKSSSB : Interview Schedule for Teacher Edu. Dept., J&K

Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) released the list of candidates shortlisted for Interview for the post of Teacher, Education Department, District Cadre Rajouri.
The Interview of the short-listed candidates will be held from 19 May 2014 till 19 June 2014, at Dak Bangalow Rajouri from 0830 hours onwards.
The list is prepared on the basis of the candidates’ performance in the objective Type written exam held for the post on 17 September 2013. Along with the Roll No. and Names of 2613 candidates the list also contains, Father’s Name, Address, Category, Item Code and Date of Interview for each candidates. Visit JKSSB website for the list of shortlisted candidates.
Candidates called for Interview will have to produce all documents in original as well as one photocopy of each certificate duly attested by Gazatted Officer for verification failing which they will not be allowed to appear for the Interview.
No interview call letter will be issued to short—listed candidates.
The posts were advertised via Notification No 03 of 2012, 05 of 2013 and 06 of 2013, Item No’s 397, 494 and 555 respectively.

Eligibility Criteria

• An eminent scholar with Ph. D qualifications Degree in the concerned discipline and published work of high quality.
• Good academic record with at least 55% marks at the Master’s Degree level in concerned subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
• NET shall be the compulsory requirement for those with Post-Graduate Degrees only. But, in respect of candidates who belong to J&K State and are not NET qualified, SET shall be the compulsory requirement.
• The candidates without NET or SET having Ph.D Degree in the concerned subject in compliance of the UGC Regulation, 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of minimum eligibility conditions of NET/SET. However, the candidates registered for Ph.Dprogramme shall also be eligible to apply.

Age Limit

• Age limit for the candidate should not be exceeding 44 Years for various Posts. 
• Age Relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category candidates is applied as per the government norms.
