RPSC College Lecturer Exam Schedule 2016 (Revised)

RPSC released written exam schedule 2016 of College Lecturer Exam 2014 for 1st, 2nd & 3rd Paper Exam 2016. Paper I & II Online Recruitment Exam will be held from 21.06.2016 to 09.07.2016. Third paper exam of General Studies of Rajsthan will be held on 24.04.2016 (10.00 A.M. to 12.00 Noon) in one session at various exam centres. RPSC Online Recruitment Exam (Computer Based Test) 2016 - College Lecturer Exam 2014-2015

RPSC on 09.02.2016 issued a press note regarding Online Recruitment Exam (Computer Based Test) for College Lecturer Exam 2015 to be held in 2016. So, RPSC College Lecturer Exam 2015-2016 will be conducted Online through Computer Based Recruitment Test. Candidates are advised to go through the online exam pattern so that they can easily appear in the exam.

RPSC Exam Scheme - College Lecturer 2015-16

As per new exam scheme, recruitment for these posts will be made through Written Test and Interview. There will be three papers in written test carrying 75 marks, 75 marks, 50 marks respectively. Interview will be 24 marks. Three times candidates of total posts, who will secure minimum score as per post and category, will be invited in Interview.

RPSC invited online application for recruitment of 1070 (increased upto 1248) Posts of College Lecturer for various subjects under Department of College Education under Advt. No. 7/2014-15 dated 12.01.2015. 

RPSC on 15.10.2015 issued a Corrigendum regarding College Lecturer 2014 Advt. No. 7/2014-15. As per Govt. Notification dated 28.07.2015 RPSC notified the revised advertisement of the above said posts of college lecturer.

As per revised schedule, eligible candidates can apply online upto 16.11.2015 (extended upto 21.11.2015) through official website of RPSC i.e. http://www.rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in or http://rpsconline.rajasthan.gov.in.

RPSC on 16.11.2015 issued a Press Note regarding last date extension for online application for the post of College Lecture. Candidates can now apply online upto 21.11.2015.

As per old schedule, candidates could apply online from 19.01.2015 to 27.02.2015 (extended upto 31.03.2015). Last date for online application has been extended upto 16.11.2015 (further extended upto 21.11.2015). Candidates can edit their Online Application Form from 09.04.15 to 30.04.15 (extended upto 15.12.2015) after submitting the required fee.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

1. For Post Nos. 1 - 26
(Arts, Humanities, Sciences, Social Sciences, Commerce, Education, Languages, Law, Journalism and Mass Communication)

1. Good academic record as defined by the concerned university with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
2. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET)  conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.
3. Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-clauses (i) and (ii) to this Clause 4.4.1. candidates, who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/Colleges/Institutions.
4. NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted.

2. For Post Nos. 27 - 28
(MUSIC, PERFORMING ARTS, VISUAL ARTS AND OTHER TRADITIONAL INDIAN ART FORMS LIKE SCULPTURE ETC. & MUSIC AND DANCE DISCIPLINE)

1.  Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s Degree level, in the relevant subject or an equivalent degree from an Indian/Foreign University.
2. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) for lecturers conducted by the UGC, CSIR, or similar test accredited by the UGC.
3. Notwithstanding anything contained in the sub-clauses (i) and (ii) to this Clause 4.4.2.1, candidates, who are, or have been awarded Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/Colleges/Institutions.

OR

1.  A traditional and a professional artist with highly commendable professional achievement in the concerned subject, who should have:

• Studied under noted/reputed traditional masters and has thorough knowledge to explain the subject concerned.
• A high grade artist of AIR/TV; and
• Ability to explain the logical reasoning of the subject concerned and adequate knowledge to teach theory with illustrations in that discipline.

3. Compulsory Qualification for All Posts (post no. 1-28)

Practical Knowledge of Hindi & Knowledge of Rajsthani Culture)

Good Academic Record (For all subjects/posts): Good academic record means an average of at least 55% marks in 3 examinations preceding to Master’s degree with at least 50% marks in graduation and any one of the Secondary/High School, Hr. Secondary/Sr. Secondary or equivalent grades in the point scale wherever grading system is followed without including any grace marks and/or rounding off to make it 55% or 50% as the case may be.

Note : 

1. Candidates have to present a Provisional Certificate of Ph.D. Degree at the time of Interview. If the candidates fail to get Ph.D. Degree, s/he should be qualified NET/SLET/SET, otherwise s/he would be considered ineligible.
2. SLET/SET qualified candidates from RPSC would be eligible.
3. SLET/SET qualified candidates from other states before 1 June 2012 would be eligible.
4. Relaxation in Age Limit will be as per Rajsthan Govt. norms
