Directorate of Education, Delhi Govt. NCT & Anr. has finalized the order of merit list of guest teachers to be appointed in Delhi Govt. Schools for the year 2014-15. In July 2014, Directorate of Education, Delhi Govt. had invited online applications for engagement of guest teachers for the posts of Asstt. Teacher (Primary/Nursery), TGT & PGT/Lecturer in Delhi Government Schools for the year 2014-15.

The last date for applying online application was extended upto 09 August 2014 and the merit list of the candidates eligible for the concerned posts was scheduled to be published on 12 August 2014. But the merit list was delayed due to CAT orders. Now the department has informed all the candidates who have submitted online applications under Engagement of Guest Teachers 2014-15 that the order of merit list district/post/ category wise can be downloaded from the web portal of Directorate.

School/Post/Category wise allocation of applicants has also been made in the order of merit subject to availability of vacancies. The applicants who have been allotted specific schools are instructed to contact the Head of School(s) and get their certificates verified during 23/08/2014 to 26/08/2014 ,without fail. Appointment letters will be issued by HOS concerned to the eligible candidates after the documents in support of age, educational qualification etc. are found to be in order. The candidates in receipt of engagement letter shall be required to join the school immediately. If the candidates does not get the certificates verified by 26.08.2014 their candidature shall be treated as cancelled.

Engagement is subject to the final outcome of OA No. 2671/2014 (M.A.No.226912014) in the matter of Sonalika Mishra & ors VS Govt. of NCT & ors before the Hon'ble CAT Principal Bench, New Delhi and other related cases i.e. OA Nos. 2686/2014, 2772/2014 Principal Bench, New Delhi.& 2779/2014 before Hon'CAT Principal Bench, New Delhi.
